Do you do MDA facials on very sensitive skin?
Crystal Clear has developed products & facials for all skin types, including
sensitive skins. Before the first facial, a consultation takes place to
determine suitable course of treatment. I would need to find out more about your skin before I give a definate answer as there are many factors to take into consideration. If you have very sensitive skin, I would recommend we do a quick patch test prior to your facial, just on the inside of the forearm, to see how your skin will react (the crystals are medical grade & are non toxic).
What do the facial treatments involve & what is the cost?
How often it is recommended to have the treatments?
After just one treatment, you will notice an improvement, your skin will feel
fresher & you will probably notice a lifted & plumped effect. Ideally, one facial per week over the course of 10 weeks (or 20 if treating scarring/thickened skin) will have a noted effect on the skin, it is then suggested to drop to one per month for maintenence. As long as 5 days minimum is left betweed MDA.
Aftercare following MDA is as follows:
*Avoid heat treatments, inc hot baths/showers & UV exposure for 48hrs
*Avoid exercise or anything that might make you sweat & swimming for 24hrs
*Must use a SPF of at least 15 at all times - Crystal Clear's Skin
Brightening Comples or Protect & Repair is recommended
*No sunbeds for the duration of the course of treatments.
*Avoid touching/itching area for 24hrs
*Only use Crystal Clear products directly after treatment & avoid putting anything on the skin for 24hrs inc cleansers, moisturisers ect.
*No AHA's or glycolics to be used for 3 days prior & 7 days after.
MDA may not be suitable (but treatment may be possible) for the following
conditions:
*Active or uncontrolled diabetes
*Raised moles, warts, skin tags
Skin cancer & auto-immune disease
*Eczema, psoriasis, seborreic dermatitis
*Telangiectasis (broken capillaries)
*Rosacea & active acne
*Herpes Simplex
*Asthma (if on steroids)
*Keloid Scars
*Pregnancy
if on Accutane.
